Terms of Use

PhraseNest is provided by OptimalAI Limited. These terms describe our learning service and apply alongside the App Store terms and app license provided by Apple.

Learning service

Record what you want to say in English. After you give AI data consent, Google Gemini transcribes your recording and creates English and Latin American Spanish cards. You review the suggested cards before adding them to your library. AI-generated translations and pronunciation can contain mistakes; review them before relying on them.

The AI processing service is intended for adults aged 18 or older. Do not submit another person's recording or personal information without the rights and permission to do so.

Spanish audio

Choose your reading voice in Settings: the iPhone system voice, Audio8 Female, or Audio8 Male when the Audio8 model is available on your device. All three generate Spanish speech locally. Audio8 uses fixed reference voices; its Spanish support is experimental and pronunciation may vary. A voice change applies to newly generated card audio. Existing library audio is kept, and previewing does not change your selection. The app does not offer cloning of your own voice.

Subscriptions

An active subscription is required to process new recordings. Monthly and yearly plans provide the same processing allowance: up to 150 recording minutes per UTC calendar month, with a maximum of 5 minutes per recording. The allowance resets at the start of the next UTC calendar month. Unused minutes do not carry over; a yearly plan does not provide the whole year's allowance at once. Successfully processed recordings and recordings rejected by content safety checks count toward usage. Network and server failures do not.

Apple shows your local price, billing period, and any eligible introductory offer before purchase and handles payment through your Apple Account. If an eligible free trial is offered, it converts to the selected paid plan unless canceled. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. To avoid the next charge, cancel before renewal; Apple advises canceling a free or discounted trial at least 24 hours before it ends.

Use Settings > Manage subscription or your Apple subscription settings to manage or cancel. Deleting the app or withdrawing AI data consent does not cancel a subscription. Restore purchases in Settings uses the Apple Account associated with your purchase. Refund requests are handled by Apple under its policies and applicable law.

Your existing library, listening loops, and recall remain available after a subscription expires. New recording processing stops until an active subscription is available.

Responsible use

Only record content you have the right to share. Do not create unlawful content, infringe other people's rights, or attempt to bypass content safety or service security controls. Avoid sensitive or confidential material. You can report inappropriate cards using Report, or email support@optimalai.world.

Changes and contact

Updates to these terms will show a revised effective date. Material changes to the AI provider or data sent require renewed AI data consent before further uploads. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under applicable consumer law.
